My mom is an amazing grandma who loves her grand daughters dearly. One of her big missions as Grandma is to get Big Sis who is not a big eater to EAT. One day, she found this really fun take on sandwiches and made Big Sis a Sushi Roll Sandwich Lunch while in the prime of her pickiness. Grandma was so excited she liked it! Big Sis is still not a champion eater like the rest of her family, but has definitely improved with age, thankfully.

I made them again recently and wonder what the girls think about them now that they’re in the “sick of sandwiches” phase. Because, they’re pretty much like a sandwich but not. lol.

I like to chose yummy, wholesome ingredients to make the Sushi Sandwich Rolls:

Here’s a quick visual tutorial on how to make them:

They packed up nicely in our EasyLunchboxes.

And here’s their whole lunch! Whaddya think?

      Hi there!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I got the lunch bags a couple years ago and a boutique. They are Stephen Joseph lunch bags but it looks like the styles have changed a bit – don't see this particular one on their website: http://shop.stephenjosephgifts.com/home.aspx But I have run across them at various boutiquey places – even saw some not that long ago at a hospital gift shop! Good luck on your search and hope your sushi rolls are a hit! 🙂
