Thanksgiving Reuben and Mac n’ Cheese Lunch

Today is the last day of school for the girls before Thanksgiving. Wait, I feel like it was JUST their last day of school before track out a few weeks ago! I wanted to send them with a special lunch since I really haven’t been doing “special lunches” lately. Well, Little Sis got one at least, because she goes to school an hour later. Big Sis only got half a special lunch. Sorry girl! lol. Thanksgiving Reuben and Mac n’ Cheese Lunch.

A little while back, I bought some fun Thanksgiving pasta and today was the day to put it to use. Little Sis has been excited about it for days, maybe even a week now. All it takes is saying the word “pasta” with that one.

So here it is, a turkey Reuben lunch with Mac n’ Cheese, only it’s actually a corned beef Reuben in our EasyLunchboxes.

In this lunch:

1. Reuben on rye complete with corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing
2. Carrots and ranch
3. What Lisa Cooks’ One Pot Mac and Cheese made with turkey-shaped pasta
4. Strawberries
5. Pringles Chips in our Blue Avocado reusable snack bag
6. Chips Ahoy Chewy Cookies

And here’s a close up of the mac and cheese since I didn’t want the heat to escape her Thermos Funtainer. As Little Sis noted, the shapes look much better before cooking them. You can find this pasta, in packs of 4, on here at this link on Amazon or simply visit World Market where I got mine.
