Sandwiches on Sticks

My girls and I headed downtown Raleigh yesterday to pick up some “America’s Got Talent” tickets. I don’t want to give Ticketmaster any more of our money than we have to! And when in downtown Raleigh, you just HAVE to stop by Krispy Kreme bakery to watch the glazed donuts roll off the assembly line. Which of course meant they needed to eat a healthy-ish lunch beforehand. So Sandwiches on Sticks for lunch!

When I told the girls I was making sandwiches, they both grumbled and whined a bit “I don’t want a sandwich, Mommy! I’m tired of them!”. But when I SHOWED them the sandwiches, they both changed their tune REAL fast. Funny what a difference adding “on a stick” to the end of food can make. Thank goodness for my new extra-long picks! A million thanks to Anna of Becoming A Bentoholic for this ever-so-sweet-and-awesome gift! ♥

Sandwiches on Sticks

In this lunch:

  1. Applegate Ham and Cheese sandwich on Nature’s Own 100% Whole Wheat bread, cubed and skewered
  2. Annie’s Homegrown Creamy Deluxe Macaroni Dinner (Whole Wheat Shells & Extra Cheesy Cheddar Sauce)
  3. Annie’s Homegrown Organic Cheddar Bunnies snacks
  4. Del Monte’s canned carrots
  5. Annie’s Homegrown Organic Bunny Fruit Snacks
  6. Organic Valley Lowfat 1% Organic Milk boxes

And thanks to my awesome neighbor Jodi for this awesome dishcloth I now use as a sweet backdr

Thanks Candice! My friend Anna (above) sent these to me but she said got hers from a cake decorating supplies shop. She also passed along this website that only has the heart available:

      http://www.cakearts.com/search.asp?keyword=Pixstix&search=GO

I've seen them on Amazon as well, but after shipping, they are rather ridiculoulsy priced:

Sorry I can't help more than that! Good luck and thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
