Home Cafeteria-Style Lunch #3

The girls are “tracked out” for the next three weeks. Yay!!! I just love our year-round schools here because every nine weeks, we get a three-week break. How awesome is that?!?! But what do they start doing almost immediately after waking up? Play school! It’s so funny and cute to listen to them play together for hours on end. With school lessons and classes also come recess and lunch time. Here’s another variation of Home Cafeteria-Style Lunch #2. This time I put a meatless twist to it.

Home Cafeteria-Style Lunch #3

In this lunch (from left to right):

  1. Doctor Yum’s Homemade Snickerdoodles
  2. Sabre Classic Hummus
  3. Tostito’s Blue Corn Chips (organic!)
  4. Grilled Cheese using Applegate American Cheese and Nature’s Own 100% Whole Wheat Bread
  5. Chopped spinach salad with broccoli slaw and shredded carrots
  6. Peeled Mandarin Orange wedges
  7. 2 glasses of Horizon’s Fat Free Milk

The girls didn’t have too much time before heading out to a 1/2 day indoor soccer camp (recess), but managed to get some speedy nutrition in for some soccer drills. They really love the serve-yourself aspect of school lunches but don’t always like what’s on the menu. This is the best of both worlds and lots of fun, to boot! We all love school cafeteria lunch at home!!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Feel free to make my day by leaving me a comment, following my blog via email, on Facebook or on Instagram. The more the merrier!

To check out items used in my posts or some of my favorites, simply click here: “Products I Love“. Purchases made using these links earns me a little extra cash to support my bento habit, which Hubby really appreciates. Haha! So, THANK YOU, should you choose to purchase any of ’em!

I got my plates from Target a looooong time ago. Though they don’t have the exact ones anymore, here are some other products that would actually prefer to own over the ones I have now! The trays are super cheap and come in an array of colors. Fun!

Here are some Target links that are very similar to the ones I bought my girls years ago from there.
