Big Sis’ EOG Breakfast

Big Sis is quickly nearing the end of 3rd grade which also means her first experience with EOG‘s (aka “End-of-Grade testing). Other states call them different things like SOL’s in VA – lol! Last night Big Sis told me that she needed to eat a good healthy breakfast to get her started off right and she requested mini pancakes so of course, I obliged. Little Sis chimed in that she wanted Mommy Grits for Big Sis’s EOG breakfast but I told her she can choose that when it’s her turn (three years from now). LOL! Don’t worry, I’ll probably be making them for her again this weekend.

EOG Breakfast

In this breakfast:

  1. Applegate Turkey Sausage
  2. 1/2 an organic, caged-free brown egg boiled to perfection, if I do say so myself!
  3. 2 Nordic Berries multi-vitamin gummies
  4. A few slices of an organic Fuji apple – the only kind of apple Big Sis will eat because, yes, she can actually tell the difference!
  5. Mini pancakes

And here’s the big 3rd grader (soon-to-be 4th grader in about three weeks) with her EOG breakfast and a hoodie her teacher suggested wearing because it will cold in the classrooms. Never mind that the morning started out at 71 degrees at 8:30am! Haha! Good luck, sweet and sassy thing! I really wish you weren’t growing up so fast!

And the pancake recipe, for those of you who are interested: Homemade Pancakes
