Homemade Graham Crackers

I just made THE most DELICIOUS Homemade Graham Crackers EVER. They are even better than store-bought crackers, if you ask me. I used Weelicious’ Graham Crackers Recipe and made a few changes to make them that much healthier:

Add:
2 Tbsp ground flax seed
2 Tbsp wheat germ
1 Tbsp butter

And just follow the recipe! Bake on the lesser side for softer, chewier cookies and bake on the longer end for crunchy, crispy cookies. Both ways are delicious!

Rolling out the dough:

Use cookie cutters to cut into fun shapes or just use a fluted pastry wheel for quicker but still fun results.

The girls’ school mascot is a penguin so I couldn’t help but add a little flair to the penguin cookies. As you can see, I only did a few to test, but they turned out awesome! Next go-round, I just may invest the time and make the whole batch this way, they’re so stinkin’ cute!

Off they go to the oven:

And out they come!

Hee hee – aren’t they so cute?

These homemade graham crackers are certainly snacks fit for both kids and snacky husbands! Never mind how many I ate while making them – SOMEONE needed to test them out!

While I’m at it, these cute and delicious graham crackers are perfect for packing in lunches, too, don’t you agree?

haha!! They should last about 5 days in an air-tight container. You can also freeze them before or after baking to make them last longer. Thanks so much for stopping by, tj! 🙂
