Well, it’s Wednesday again which means another day of Volunteering at School Lunches (#2)! As I mentioned in my post last week, here is LAST week’s lunches. My days are numbered as we are nearing the end of the school year and just a few more weeks left. Sniff, sniff, I’ll miss those little cuties but will welcome back my Wednesdays (for now).

This time Little Sis requested to take paninis for lunch with a BIG smile on her face. That girl cracks me up. How could I say no? But I did warn her that it wouldn’t be hot off the grill when she ate it. This panini was made with muenster cheese, bacon and shredded spinach.

After grilling them, I wrapped it up in foil and put it in her lunch box with hopes that it would be at least lukewarm when she ate it. Big Sis wanted a bagel with cream cheese for her lunch. Don’t you just love it when they want different things? But this request was easy enough to accommodate.

In this Volunteering at School Lunches #2 lunch:

  1. Spinach salad with chopped carrots, grape tomatoes, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds and mozzarella balls ALL from Trader Joe’s
  2. Watermelon – doesn’t look ripe but it was surprisinly sweet and tasty
  3. Crunchmasters’ Multi-grain Crisps

This time, I was able to snap up a pic of Little Sis eating her lunch. She seemed to enjoy the panini just fine. Yay!

And Big Sis with hers. As a special treat today, we got to eat up in the classroom along with 3 other friends of her choosing. Here’s her pose when I asked if I could take a picture of her. lol!!

I’m am fer sure gonna enjoy these days because before I know it, they won’t want me to even step foot in their school. sniff, sniff.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Feel free to make my day by leaving me a comment, following my blog via email, on Facebook or on Instagram. The more the merrier!
