Volunteering at School Lunches #3

Well, it’s the second to last week of school which means I only have one more week left of volunteering and it’s bittersweet. As nice as it’ll be to reclaim Wednesdays for myself, I’m also getting choked up. I’m going to miss bunch of 1st grade cutie pies, sniff, sniff. With that, here’s Volunteering at School Lunches #3.

Big Sis is in the middle of EOGs (End-of-Grade) testing so I wasn’t able to have lunch with her, but I did drop off some after-testing popsicles for them. And, I did get to do lunch bunch (read books while the kids ate) with some of Little Sis’s class. But the funny thing is I ended up eating my lunch in the car before I headed off to run errands.

Little Sis’ Volunteering at School Lunches #3 Lunch:

  1. Sandwiches on a stick: Trader Joe’s organic soft white bread with Applegate Ham and American Cheese
  2. Snack Factory Pretzel Chips with Laughing Cow Creamy Swiss Cheese
  3. Organic Carrot Sticks
  4. Organic Seedless Red Grapes
  5. Cascadian Farm Chocolate Chip Granola Bars
  6. Potato Sticks (from our local Korean grocery store)
  7. 4 Hershey’s Kisses

  Big Sis’ Lunch:

  1. PB&J Sandwich on Trader Joe’s Organic Soft White Bread, Cascadian Farms Organic Blueberry Jam and JIF’s Natural Creamy Peanut Butter (kept far far away from Little Sis’ Lunch)
  2. Snack Factory Pretzel Chips with Laughing Cow Creamy Swiss Cheese
  3. Organic Carrot Sticks
  4. Peeled Snacks Apple Clusters
  5. Sunmaid Raisins
  6. Potato Sticks (from our local Korean grocery store)
  7. 4 Hershey’s Kisses

My lunch:

  1. Applegate Ham & American Cheese with Romaine lettuce, mayo mustard and Wickles
  2. DELISH watermelon
  3. Crunchmaster Gluten-Free Crackers

Little Sis was a bit silly at lunch today. Instead of doing lunch bunch in the classroom like we normally do, we went to the cafeteria to change things up a bit. Little Sis sure was excited about SOMETHING but I’m not exactly sure what!

Maybe it’s because she only had one more week to go?

Thanks so much for stopping by! Feel free to make my day by leaving me a comment, following my blog via email, on Facebook or on Instagram. The more the merrier!
