Naan Pizza in LunchBots

I haven’t been posting too many lunches lately because I basically go through a rotation of about 5 or 6 of the same lunches, week in, week out. How boring, right? Yes, while it’s easy and doesn’t require much thought at 5:45 in the morning, it does get really BORING! Today, I decided to make something that required a leeeetle more effort: Naan Pizza in LunchBots! I haven’t actually used my LunchBots in a while, either, so I was happy to put these lovely boxes to good use again.

Naan Pizza in LunchBots

In this lunch:

  1. Naan Pizza
  2. Spinach-kale salad with ranch dressing
  3. Yoplait strawberry yogurt
  4. Apple + Mango fruit bar from Trader Joe’s
  5. Laughing Cow Cheese
  6. Mission Meat’s Beef Sticks – Keto Sugar-Free, Grass-Fed, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, MSG-Free, Nitrate-Free, Paleo Natural meat sticks!
  7. Aldi’s Sea Salt Pita Chips

My girls LOVE pizza. Who doesn’t, right? We make them using store-bought pizza dough, homemade pizza dough, pita bread, English muffins, regular bread, French bread – you name it! This time, I used these cute half-sized naan breads I found at one of my new favorite stores Aldi. Because they’re half-sized, I made two for each of them in my toaster oven. Aaaah, my toaster oven. Can I take a moment to tell you how much I love my toaster oven and how handy it is? I bought this Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven a couple years ago when the one I had since college died. I opted for a slightly more expensive kind this time around and it did not disappoint! On average, I probably use it 3 times a day, between breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners. If you’re in the market for one, certainly give this one a look!

Here’s a close-up of that Naan Pizza in our LunchBots Uno. Both girls’ lunch boxes came home empty, which is always a beautiful sight. And for those of you who are curious, my girls eat this at room temperature. I’m really lucky they don’t mind hot lunches that aren’t quite hot. When I asked them how they liked the pizza, both said it was “soooooooooo good!”. And believe me, they aren’t ones to beat around the bush when it comes to food. Either they like it or they don’t (usually)!

Now, this actual lunch belongs to Little Sis. She often asks me to pack her some of the vat of salad I make every week. In this LunchBot rounds, underneath that ranch, you’ll find a mix of spinach and kale greens, quinoa, bell peppers, carrots and some mushrooms. How lucky am I that this girl loves to eat, and even healthy at times!

In my LunchBots Trio, you’ll find some Aldi’s pita chips (my new favorite chips – so light, crispy and oh so tasty), Laughing Cow Cheese, a meat stick and a fruit bar. This meat stick, while not cheap, is a meat stick I don’t mind feeding my girls. My hubby, after some extensive meat stick research, found this awesome brand, Mission Meat’s Beef Sticks, that is Keto Sugar-Free, Grass-Fed, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, MSG-Free, Nitrate-Free and Paleo! Nice, huh?

Thanks so much for stopping by! Feel free to make my day by leaving me a comment, following my blog via email, on Facebook or on Instagram. The more the merrier!
