Lunch and a Snack Box

I know Little Sis is getting just as tired of hearing the question “What do you want for lunch today?” as I am of asking it! Just three more days until we track out (we go to year round schools where kids go school for 9 weeks and then get a break or track out for 3 weeks and alternate on that schedule all year long. It’s AWESOME!) so we are hanging on by a thread. So here are several Lunch and a Snack Box ideas for bigger kids with bigger appetites!

Today she answered, “I’ll just take a sandwich” to which I fist pumped, either in my head or actually with my fist – I can’t quite remember as I hadn’t had my coffee yet. I was excited because she likes the easiest sandwiches: two slices of bread, cheese and meat – nothing else! But I really don’t think this looks like JUST A SANDWICH, do you? It’s all thanks to my EasyLunchboxes, Snack Box and Pick Ease pick which make lunch-packing fun and easy!

Lunch and a Snack Box

When I got the new snackbox, I really thought I’d be using them for just snacking on-the-go like when going on trips or driving between practices and activies, but I’ve found that they complement ELBs perfectly in school lunches, especially Little Sis’ who NEEDS more food and I love that they have minimized my washing of miscellaneous small containers that I still ended up packing because someone just won’t stop growing like a weed! haha.

Anyway, just loving our new addition to my lunch box family: the EasyLunchboxes SnackBox! For a set of your own, look for my affiliate links below!

In this Lunch and a Snack Box:

  1. Just a sandwich made with Nature’s Own White Wheat bread, Applegate Ham and Colby Jack Cheese
  2. Cheez-It Grooves, a new family fave
  3. Annie’s Organics Fruit Snacks
  4. Carrots
  5. Sabra Hummus
  6. Pretzels
  7. Strawberries

While I’m add it, I might as well add another lunch! Day 2 of a 3-day school week. Little Sis was in the mood for Pizza Bites today so pizza she got! We love these appetizers from Trader Joe’s. They’re made with wholesome ingredients without any preservatives and yucky stuff like that. They smell soooooooo good out of the oven, taste so good and are so fun. Little Sis’ only regret is they are cold when she eats them at lunch, so sometimes I’ll let her sneak one in the morning.

Little Sis has really been enjoying packing her snacks in these new boxes, even if she packs the same stuff two days in a row.
