Rice Krispy Treat Mustaches On A Stick

With the International Fake Mustache Day Blog Hop coming up, I was kind of at a loss of what to do. I mean, yeah, make stuff with mustaches, but what? And how? And I don’t have a mustache cutter! I should’ve bought that set I saw at Target over the holidays but I didn’t really need glasses nor a tie cutter. That would have taken up too much valuable space. Where there’s a will there’s a way to make these fun Rice Krispy Treat Mustaches on a stick!

I had a couple birthdays coming up that I needed to make some treats for and got Rice Krispy Treats on the brain. Then it came to me in a flash – Rice Krispy Treat Mustaches on a stick! YEAH! But I didn’t have any mustache cookie cutters…doh! I can be creative… see?

And no need to reinvent the wheel. Here’s the link for the Original Rice Krispy Treats Recipe and here’s how I made these babies. And be sure to use this tip when squishing them into a pan: Cooking Tip #1: Smushing sticky stuff like cookie dough into a pan.

The fun part was giving them to my girls.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Feel free to make my day by leaving me a comment, following my blog via email, on Facebook or on Instagram. The more the merrier!

Perfect! I love that you were able to use the heart cutter instead of a custom mustache cutter. The pictures of your girls are darling!

Aww, thanks so much, Laurie! And yeah, I'm glad the heart worked out – I SO didn't want to buy another cookie cutter! 🙂
