Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies

This year I pared down my holiday baking by making just these, sugar cookies and dipped pretzels. It made my life a whole lot simpler during an already busy time. I made about 3-4 batches and shared them with teachers and family. But I wanted to add a little something different, too, so these Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies were perfect!

This Chocolate Dipped Shortbread recipe from Epicurious.com was super easy to make and tasted delicious. Plus they were fun to dip and sprinkle. They were loved plain, just dipped in chocolate and with sprinkles on top!

These Chocolate Dipped Shortbread are fun to shape, poke, dip and sprinkle! I used a 2″ x 3″ rectangle cookie cutters so they make pretty sizable cookies. They are pretty cookies and make great gifts for teacher appreciation, birthdays, Christmas time, you name it! They look even fancier after wrapping them up in baggies!
