Lunch Box Fun 2015-16: Week #1

Last week marked the beginning of a new school year for those of us in year-round schools. Big Sis is a middle schooler now and Little Sis is in 3rd grade. Since they’ve started back, I’ve made lunches for them every day thus far. In the past, they’ve (Big Sis in particular) bought lunch 2-3 times a week and took lunch 2-3 times. But this year, Big Sis has found that she has far less time to eat than she has had in the past. 20 minutes includes stopping by the bathroom, standing in line to buy lunch and finding a seat. I’m thinking that’s why she’s requested a packed lunch every day so far. Which means I’d better start getting more creative, for them AND for me, so I don’t get bored to tears making the same ol’ thing, day in day out. lol.

Since it looks like I’ll be busy packing lots of lunches this year, thought I’d start up a weekly round up of lunches instead of posting each one individually, although I don’t know which way is actually quicker for me! lol. With that, here’s our first week of lunches!

Hopefully, I’ll get this weeks’ lunch post out in a timely manner! Just one more week (next week) until we track out for 3 weeks and I get a break from this lunch packing madness! 🙂
