Pre-Feeding Veggies to Girls On-The-Go

My hubby and I have worked hard to ensure our girls eat a well-balanced diet. We do that by serving them some for of veggies with lunch and dinner. But sometimes it’s a chore, especially when you’re busy or social. That’s why we are quite often Pre-Feeding Veggies to our girls when we are on-the-go.

We pre-feed our girls their veggies before we head out to dinner at a restaurant or at a friend’s house. It’s the only way they’re guaranteed to get their veggies in. Quite often, we give it to them in the car ride over in these stainless steel LunchBots Trios (sadly, no longer available), if the drive is long enough. And it works great because that’s when they’re usually hungry! Why not fill them up on the good stuff first and then not fret as much over the rest of their dinner so we can all eat in peace? It’s a win-win in my book!

Pre-Feeding Veggies

One day the girls and I were headed out for errands with their American Girls in tow. Little did I know that they had grabbed our LunchBots and packed this snack for them. Can you imagine how big my grin was? I was so touched and proud of my sweet little mamas! They’re pre-feeding veggies to THEIR girls on the go! I’ll admit, I gave my hubby and myself a little pat on the back in that moment.

Here’s a pic of the little mamas and their girls, at the Bean in Chicago – the very trip where Little Sis acquired hers.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Feel free to make my day by leaving me a comment, following my blog via email, Facebook or Instagram. The more the merrier, of course!
