EasyLunchboxes Giveaway!

Happy Tuesday! What better way to start the day off than with a giveaway!?!? After all my hootin' and hollerin' about my favorite lunch-packing tool, I thought it was finally time to let one of you lucky readers try a set out for yourself!

When Big Sis started Kindergarten way back when, I packed the majority of her lunches because:
  1. she was pretty picky,
  2. I was worried about her tree nut allergies and
  3. school lunches just didn't seem all that great, anyway.
Not wanting to use wasteful disposable plastic baggies and such, I used what seemed like a million different plastic containers on a daily basis. It worked fine and dandy but I got super tired super fast of washing those "millions" of pieces of plastic - EVERY DAY. That was about 3 years ago and that's when I started off on my search for a lunchbox that would fit my needs and happened upon my first set of EasyLunchboxes. It was love at first sight and it is a love that's still going strong. Hee hee. I bought a second set about 6 months later after deciding I needed more! :) So now I have plenty to pack lunches for both Big Sis AND Little Sis, who has since joined the ranks of the cute little school girls, as well as Daddy and myself on occasion AND to keep some in the car for drive-thru lunches on-the-go. Though they aren't typically supposed to last this long, mine have been going strong for 3 years and counting!

Let me add that this Lunch Box System is perfect for School, Work or Travel! Be sure to check out their webpage for more info (http://www.easylunchboxes.com/), but these babies are:

  • For Kids & Adults
  • Easy-Open, Kid-Friendly Lids
  • NOT LEAKPROOF (use Little Dippers for liquidy items)
  • NO BPA, Lead, Vinyl or PVC
  • Affordable, Durable & Eco-Friendly
  • Less Pieces, More Function
  • Easy Prep, Easy Cleanup
  • Nesting Containers Save Space
  • Safe for Freezer, Dishwasher and Microwave
  • Washable Cooler Bag

I bought a few sets last year, but not the cooler bag - I'd love to see how easily these would fit in the bags designed for them...instead of what we made work!! Love the containers!

I'm excited about all the easylunchboxes! We had the originals, and they've lasted 2 school years, and I still have 3 of them (I think grandma stole the other one).

Can't wait to get the brights for my girls (and myself).

Being a complete sucker for luncboxes, how have I never found your blog? I'm so glad you found me! I'll follow you from now on... we do a mix of school bought lunches and packed ones, and when I pack, a sweet lunchbox always puts me in the right mood.

Me and my new Kindergartener are most excited about the "princess" pink and purple! Been wanting to try these for years but just can't afford it. The ones in the store just aren't as cool.

PS...Where did you get the girls' cooler bags?

Trisha Davis said...

I really like the mini dippers containers. My kids are still young so I'd likely use them for just the right amount of berries or for the sauce in their favourite lunch of "Make you own Pizzas".

I got my lunch bags a couple years ago at boutique-y type store at a mall. THey are Stephen Joseph lunch bags I just fell in love it. Paid more than I normally would have, but they've lasted me way longer than the ones I bought at target several years ago. I've seen them pop up here and there, at other boutique-like gift stores (even saw them at a hospital gift shop once), but most recently saw some at Hallmark Gift shops, too!

I have to add that these type bags don't leave you with a whole lot of space with an Easylunchbox (ELB) in it, but i can fit what I need: A water bottle and bag of chips, etc whereas you'd have plenty of room for more in an ELB cooler. Also these won't keep your lunch upright like an ELB cooler would. But I make my lunches such that carrying them sideways won't mess anything up. :)

Oh and good luck! :)

Unjust ordered a set of these and am positive already we will use more for my three girls daily lunches. Love some f the meals you have done!!
